Rv furnace runs once but won t restart this sort of issue is most often caused by a blockage in the air intake or exhaust which causes a lack of air in the combustion chamber.
Rv furnace clicking but not lighting.
Rv furnace igniter not working.
Usually i first check the pilot light.
Any number of reasons can be behind a broken igniter.
If it does click the board it sending voltage to the igniter but the igniter could be damaged or have carbon build up on it and needs cleaned off.
Check for debris dirt or bugs in the exhaust or inlet.
In case it isn t working the problem is most likely with the thermocouple which i check immediately after.
It can also be caused by a lack of gas pressure or a gas valve which is only partially opening.
A faulty or dirty ignition or sensor is a relatively easy fix so follow these steps and you may be able to solve the problem yourself.
If the furnace motor doesn t start when you turn up the thermostat the possible problems are the fuse for the furnace the thermostat the module board the small fan relay that is separate on older model furnaces or the motor itself.
The relay continually clicks and the voltage jumps to 1 2 volts on the blue furnace wires.
Also when clicking but not lighting the gas valve may not be opening allowing gas to the burn chamber.
It can happen when you have a bad thermostat.
The igniter is the part of the furnace that lights it up and once it s broken there ll be no heat.
The pilot light or ignition sensor is usually the most common issue when your furnace will not ignite.
In other words there s an ignition system malfunction that needs to be fixed.
Make sure the thermostat is is fine working condition.
Rv furnace does not stay lit this is the ultimate result of other issues that can be with the whole furnace system in your rv.
When one of these parts is not working properly it can prevent your furnace from starting up and producing heat for your home.
Otherwise your furnace won t start.
If it s not your blower that s broken it could also be your transformer your run capacitor or your control board.
If you see a flashing red light or no light at all your blower is more than likely broken.
It could be a loose connection on the board or faulty board.
Most likely your furnace is making a clicking noise and not providing heat because your furnace s spark igniter is trying to ignite your pilot light or burners but is failing to do so.
